Hi! I’m Emelie.

I’ve been obsessed with filmmaking ever since I discovered the “Making Of” featurettes at the end of my Disney VHS tapes when I was four years old.

This obsession propelled me to NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, where I graduated with honors in 2015 before moving to Los Angeles to become a genre-hopping, award-winning narrative and commercial director.

As both an Eldest Daughter and a Capricorn, I enjoy writing about toxic family dynamics, complicated friendships, and ambitious women, preferably on a deadline. I love training for marathons, devouring romance novels, and my AMC A-List membership.

You can find me on Instagram, watch my work on YouTube or Vimeo, read about my journey in VoyageLA, and hear about my short film, Doggone, on Cinematography for Actors.
